Committed clean capacity
Pick the capacity your network needs each month and it is fully reserved for you at Sterile's lowest per-Mbps rate. Commitments start at 5 Gbps; use Flex for less.
Burst above your commitment
If your clean-traffic 95th percentile rises above your commitment, the extra is billed at $0.28 per Mbps up to the plan's approved ceiling. Burst is metered, capped, not guaranteed, and available only when Sterile has spare network capacity. Commit to your maximum traffic level when that capacity must be guaranteed.
Commitment review
- Burst may not exceed the plan's approved ceiling and traffic may be rate-limited at that ceiling.
- Exceeding commitment by more than 25% for two consecutive months requires a commitment review.
- Sterile may require an upgrade when the next tier is consistently cheaper than commitment plus burst.
- Annual discounts apply only to committed capacity, not burst charges.
How usage is measured
- Usage aggregates across all your protected prefixes, GRE tunnels, and services.
- Blocked attack traffic is excluded from every measurement.
- Adding more prefixes does not multiply your included capacity.
