Terms of Service

    The rules and responsibilities for using Sterile Networks services.

    Overview

    These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sterile Networks’ services, website, dashboard, APIs, and related features. Sterile Networks is operated by SaaStack LLC (Wyoming). By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

    0. Definitions

    • Customer: the entity using the Services
    • Customer Data: content, configuration, logs, and other data submitted by Customer
    • Service: network-level DDoS mitigation via GRE tunnels and BGP anycast, dashboard analytics, support workflows, and related features

    1. Eligibility and Account

    You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement and be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for the confidentiality of credentials and all activity on your account.

    2. Service Description

    Sterile provides network-level mitigation and tunnel provisioning. Customers configure tunnels and DNS as needed to route traffic through Sterile. Billing combines recurring subscription fees and usage-based bandwidth charges. Custom contracts are available.

    3. Acceptable Use

    You must not use the Services to carry out illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activities. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

    • Launching attacks against third parties
    • Distributing malware
    • Engaging in fraud, spam, or unauthorized access
    • Facilitating child sexual exploitation or terrorism

    Sterile may suspend or terminate access upon suspected violations.

    Permitted traffic that is lawful (e.g., Tor exit services, cryptocurrency services, adult content) is allowed at layers 3/4, provided it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.

    4. Billing and Payments

    Payments are processed via Stripe in USD. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law. Failure to pay may result in suspension. Pricing changes will be posted 30 days in advance.

    5. Availability and SLA

    Services are provided on a best-effort basis. Sterile does not guarantee availability or performance beyond what may be stated in an explicit written Service Level Agreement for a custom-contract customer.

    6. Data & Customer Content

    You retain ownership of data you submit. You grant Sterile a limited license to host and process Customer Data to provide the Services. You are responsible for compliance with laws applicable to your content.

    7. Security Responsibilities

    Sterile maintains security controls, but you are responsible for securing your own endpoints, credentials, and local infrastructure. Use 2FA and strong credentials.

    8. Suspension and Termination

    Sterile may suspend service to protect infrastructure, comply with law, or enforce non-payment. Termination may delete access and trigger retention/deletion per the Privacy Policy.

    9. Warranty Disclaimer

    Services are provided "AS IS" without warranties except those expressly stated.

    10. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent allowed by law, Sterile’s liability is limited to the amount paid by Customer for the affected service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Sterile is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

    11. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold Sterile harmless against claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

    12. Governing Law & Venue

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Venue for disputes is the courts of Wyoming, unless mandatory non-waivable local law requires otherwise.

    13. Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms. Continued use after posting changes constitutes acceptance.
